Our Headquarters

Officially opened in 1993 our headquarters is situated on Haigh Road in Rothwell. It is used extensively both by the Scout group and the local community. For more details on the groups that use our facilities please click here.

Main Hall

The main hall is approximately 14 m by 12 m with a rubberised floor. The room is heated via roof mounted electric heaters. We have approximately 60 chairs and a large number of tables for use in the main hall.

The lockers around the edge of the room provide additional seating. There are power points along both sides of the hall.

Warburton Room

This room is idea for small meetings or to provide a seperate area for different activites in addition to the main hall. Heating is provided by electric heaters and there is a wall mounted whiteboard. The room has a board table and chairs for around 15 people.

Kitchen

Our kitchen has been recently refitted in stainless steel. There is a large industrial electric oven and a smaller electric oven in the kitchen alcove.

We also have a microwave, kettle and fridge in the kitchen for general use.

Car Parking

There is enough off road parking for 13 cars, including a disabled space. As we are situated in a residential area, the group would ask that you are considerate of our neighbours when parking at our headquarters.
